Just a few weeks ago Rodney and Amanda made their way to The Lodges at Gettysburg to photograph the wedding of Lindsay and Hank. The Lodges at Gettysburg is located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and is an Aesthetic Life Studio favorite. With a background of rolling hills and treetops and both indoor and outdoor spaces available, you cannot go wrong with this location. The bride and groom both got ready on location, and the beautiful weather allowed us to take the bridal party outside for some formal portraits- check them out below!
This ceremony was held outdoors against a beautiful scenery of trees and hillsides. Lindsey looked absolutely beautiful as she was brought down the aisle and given to her groom by her mother. Family and friends spoke about the couple and toasted them during the ceremony. Surrounded by their family, friends and bridal party, Lindsay and Hank exchanged their rings, shared their vows and were pronounced husband and wife. But not until they broke the glass of course!
During cocktail hour we were able to get even more family and bridal portrait formals on the grounds at The Lodges, including some beautiful portraits of just Lindsay and Hank! For the reception we were moved indoors to a room that was uplit beautifully and had high floral centerpieces across all the tables. Once the bride and groom were announced into the room they shared their first dance as husband and wife, and the night was off! Friends and family toasted the happy couple, shared dinner and danced along all evening. The bouquet and garter toss was quite the sight to see as some very daring ladies fought for the Lindsay’s bouquet. To really wind down the evening there was even a bonfire that was enjoyed by the later guests. Lindsay and Hank are an amazing couple and we wish them the very best!
