This past August Rodney captured the wedding of Jacque and Jordan at Stone Mill Inn in Hallam, Pa. At Stone Mill Inn you can rent both the reception and ceremony space and an adjacent guest house. When we arrived both bridal parties were busy getting ready for the day in the guest house. While Rodney began capturing wedding details the bride and groom exchanged gifts with each other. After Jacque got dressed, she took a few photos with her ladies and got ready for her first look with her groom. They did their first look outside in the gardens and it is truly beautiful.
Before the ceremony, we got the rest of the bridal party photos and then they lined up for the processional. The family and bridal party proceeded down the aisle and took their respective places. However, Jacque and Jordan’s daughter, the flower girl, needed some coaxing. Jacque was brought down the aisle by her father and given off to her groom, Jordan. Just as the service began a light drizzle started, but it did not make the day any less beautiful. The bride and groom exchanged rings, said their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! As soon as they recessed down the aisle the rain really picked up so the bridal party made a quick B-line for the guest house.
Once the rain let up we took a few moments to capture the family formals before Jacque and Jordan were announced into their cocktail hour. The space was beautifully decorated with large florals throughout and vintage rentals for seating. Jacque and Jordan shared their first dance with each other and last dance with each parent. Once dinner was served the night was off! The bride and groom were toasted, the cake was cut and thanks to a live band everyone danced the night away! We had a blast capturing this couple at such a beautiful venue and we wish Jacque and Jordan the best!
