Last August Rodney travelled over to York, Pennsylvania to photograph the wedding of Betsy and Meshach at Heritage Hills Resort. Upon arrival at the resort both the bridesmaids and groomsmen were busy getting ready in separate suites. Rodney began documenting the day by slipping in between the two suites throughout the morning and photographing the details when he had extra time. After everyone was ready we took Betsy and Meshach outside for their first look. This allowed Rodney to take some beautiful photos that you should check out below!
Since the bride and groom already saw each other at their first look they opted to take all their family and bridal party portraits prior to the ceremony. (This is always a great option for couples who want to be in their cocktail hour or have a small break in between their ceremony and reception.) Once all the guests arrived, the ceremony started and the family and bridal party made their way down the aisle. Betsy was brought down the aisle by her father and give to her groom Meshach. The bride and groom then shared their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! They even had two doves released during their ceremony!
After the ceremony Rodney took Betsy and Meshach outside for some couple portraits prior to the reception and since the bride and groom opted to do their photos before the ceremony they had a nice little break to rest and relax before they were announced into the reception area. However when they were the night took off! There were toasts, dinner, dancing and lots of cupcakes! Rodney even took a few moments, after Betsy and Meshach’s first dance, to sneak them outside for some sunset photos! Betsy and Meshach were a joy to photograph! We wish them the very best!
