Boulder Ridge | Carroll Valley, PA. | Sam & Max

Last month Rodney was at Boulder Ridge, part of Liberty Mountain Resort in Carroll Valley, PA, for Sam and Max's wedding. When Rodney arrived he quickly began capturing bridal details as well as the bride and bridesmaids getting ready. Everything of this wedding was flower and nature inspired and Rodney wanted to be sure to capture every detail. However, one detail no one wanted on this day was rain, but since nature does what nature wants it poured for hours as wedding setup and prep took place. Inside, the bride and groom exchanged letters and got all of their finishing touches done just in time for the ceremony.

The Ceremony

As rain is known for luck on your wedding day Sam had lots of it, because just minutes before the ceremony, the rain ceased and the ceremony was able to happen outside as planned! The chairs were quickly dried off as Sam and Max's friends and family took their seats. The bride and groom's family and bridal party made their way down the aisle and took their places by the gazebo. Sam was brought down the aisle by her mother and handed off with a kiss to her groom Max. They both then said their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

The Reception

After the ceremony, both the family and bridal party were gathered for photos which then led into couple photos for the new bride and groom! Once all the photos were finished the reception began by the DJ announcing the bridal party into the reception. Sam and Max then shared their first dance as husband and wife before dinner. The rest of the night was a hit with cake cutting and lots of dancing! Sam and Max were such a fun couple and we wish them the very best! Make sure you check out all their photos below, they even had a bicycle built for two!

Liberty Mountain Resort - Boulder Ridge | Carroll Valley, PA. | Sarah and Michael's Wedding

On May 20th, Rodney shot Sarah and Michael's wedding at Boulder Ridge in Liberty Mountain Resort in Carroll Valley, Pa. Upon arrival at the venue Rodney and his second split up to join both the bridal and groom's suites. Both photographers began documenting the day as well as capturing bridal and groom details. Once both parties were dressed and ready Rodney took them outside separately to get group shots as well ad individuals. After these shots were taken, everyone made their way over to the church for the ceremony.

The Ceremony

Once everyone made it to St. Joseph's Catholic Church they took their seats and places for the ceremony. Sarah met with her dad right outside the church for the first time that morning and he was in awe of how she looked. They walked down the aisle and Sarah's dad gave his daughter to her groom, Michael. As the traditional Catholic ceremony preceded, friends and family members gave readings and prayed for the couple. Sarah and Michael then said their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

The Reception

After the ceremony the family and bridal party were gathered for formal portraits at the church. Once these were complete everyone went back over to Liberty Mountain. This is where the remainder of the couple portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs. were taken! As the photos were just finishing up so was cocktail hour. The bridal party was announced into the reception and the rest of the night was a hit! Sarah and Michael are a great couple and we wish them all the best and hope they had a great honeymoon cruise!
