Last September Rodney and his team traveled to The Lodges of Gettysburg for Emily and Vincent’s Lord of The Rings inspired wedding. Upon arrival we were blown away by the amount of detail in the decorations throughout the venue. This couple loves Lord of the Rings and incorporated it into any aspect possible of their wedding day. Both the bridesmaids and groomsmen were busy getting ready in their separate suites so both Rodney and his second got to work documenting the morning. Once everyone was ready we took both Emily and Vincent outside for their first look. This entire day’s photos are dreamy and whimsical so make sure you check them out below! After the first look Rodney captured all the family and bridal party photos prior to the ceremony.
The ceremony space was next to the water and was decorated with florals throughout. Both the family and bridal party made their way down the aisle and took their places. The flower girls trotted down the aisle with flower wreaths in their hair and fairy lanterns in their hands. The bride was brought to the ceremony spot by a horse drawn carriage and her father walked her the rest of the way down the aisle. Emily and Vincent then said their vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife! They then hopped back onto the horse drawn carriage and were whisked away to the other side of the lake. This location was a perfect spot for Rodney to get some additional photos of the new couple!
The reception area was decorated with Elvish writing and greenery throughout. There were even small fairy lanterns laying about as well. The family, bridal party and Emily and Vincent were announced into the space where they then shared their first dance. After, dinner was served and the cake was cut. The evening continued on with may laughs and dancing. Emily and Vincent wanted their evening to go out with a bang. So during their sparkler exit, once they got to the end of the line fireworks were shot off from across the hill just for them. Emily and Vincent were an amazing couple and we wish them all the best!
