Ceresville Mansion | Frederick, MD. | Michelle & Zach

In March, we photographed Michelle and Zach's wedding at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, MD. Once the bride and groom were ready we went outside for their first look. After the first look, we captured most of the family and bridal party formals to make time for the bride and groom to join the cocktail hour later.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held inside the mansion and once the guests took their seats the ceremony began. Everyone made their way down the aisle and took their respective places. This ceremony was specially created by the bride and groom with specific readings, jokes and moments that made it more than memorable! Michelle and Zach then said their handwritten vows, exchanged rings and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

The Reception

Once the ceremony was over, a few missing family and bridal party photos were taken.  After the these photos were finished, while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we snuck both the bride and groom off to get some beautiful shots of just the two of them outside. Then, when all photos were finished the bridal party was announced into the reception and Michelle and Zach everyone enjoyed dinner and then cake! The night continued on with Michelle and Zach’s first dance, toasts and even more dancing! Michelle and Zach were such an intricate couple and we hope they have many more years of happiness together!

Ceresville Manor Photos | Frederick, MD | Xin & Xiaoyu's Wedding | By Rodney

Just a few weeks ago Rodney made his way out to Ceresville Mansion to capture the wedding of Xin and Xiaoyu. Ceresville Mansion is located in Frederick, Maryland and is known for its hip and modern take on their historic grounds. The bride and groom got ready on property and also decided to have a first look before the ceremony. Having a first look is always suggested as this gives the bride and groom that special time together and gives the photographer the ability to capture so much feeling, love and emotion in the photographs. Xin also had a first look with her father, which brought on a whole other set of emotions and was truly beautiful. Check those photos out below!

The Ceremony

The ceremony felt very intimate and was held indoors with beautiful florals throughout. The bride was brought down the aisle by her father and given away to her groom. Once the officiant shared some beautiful insights on the importance of marriage the bride and groom then partook in a sand mixing ceremony to symbolically express their love and the act of two becoming one in marriage. Xin and Xiaoyu then shared heartfelt vows, exchanged rings and became husband and wife.

The Reception

After bridal portraits were taken everyone made their way into the reception space which was decorated with splashes of white and red and had uplighting all around. When Xin and Xiaoyu were announced into their reception they were toasted by their parents, family and friends. The couple then cut their wedding cake and shared dinner with their guests. This gave us the time to notice all the little details the bride had on display. Once the couple shared their first dance as husband and wife, all the guests joined in to dance the evening away. To end the night, we walked Xin and Xiaoyu out through a sea of bubbles and then they were off to their honeymoon! Capturing this wedding was a joy and we wish this couple years of love and happiness.
